I am having fun at home…..and apart from the yum food, kisse kahani, lots of pyar ..et al, what I also look forward to is catching some time before the idiot box. Cumon now guys, this TV has been a ‘boxy’ member of my family for eight long years…….;-)
So what I caught up on was ESPN, Star Gold, Star World and CN!........CN has always been one of my favorites( at least some of them);-)
Hear this……Squirky ( a baby spider) has to run his first ever race and mamma spider has promised all her babies to be present for their respective events ….Cool ! except that they all happen simultaneously.
Squirky is waiting at the start line and no sigh of mamma…the whistle blows … and he keeps waiting .
- ‘ Mamma promised to come for the race’
# ‘ Maybe she is waiting at the finishing line’
- ‘ Really!’
Weeee……………..!!!!
Squirky wins the race. Mamma is unable to make it to the race. Baby is disappointed.
- ‘ Did you try to come..’
# ‘ Yes..’
- ‘ Okay! ……. J J’
It warms my heart to know such simple love and such sweet emotions. CN I will always remain young at heart. Half Ticket!

The story is very neat but I am still guessing what is CN? Cartoon Network is my best guess.

enjoy ur stay at home.. i came back from my home a few days back n i trust me these days pass tooooo soon.. so make the most out of it.. I too like to watch CN.. these small stories always make me smile.. n my all time fav cartoon is tom n jerry.. :)

Yes prasadji said it right...and u guessed it even before that..its Cartoon Network..and they dont just have spiders..they have all the animals u can think of and more (pokemon, all the robo stuff..) and i am enjoying a lot! will be regular ..atleast try!!;-)

I never liked Cartoon Network back in India. Although, my favourites used to be "Donald Duck" and "Goofy". These days I love watching shows like Simpsons and Family Guy. Infact, they are two of my favourite shows. I even have a Simpson poster in my room which has Bart Simpson in it saying..."I am an underachiever and proud of it"...LOL
One suggestion: Get the "word verification" too. This way you won't get any spam comments which are very common on Blogspot.

And i know Simpsons is a big hit..especially their sardonic, in your face wit..kinda liked some of the lines myself..;-) and yes Goofy is a cool one too specially the series where he explains the rules of various games in olympics..that is if u recall..LOL.
I have yet to check 'The family Guy' will do....:)
I don't remember Goofy too much but I know that I liked it as kid. I loved the way how Donald Duck would speak...so funny. It was great meeting Goofy, Mickey and Donald on my trip to Disneyland back in 1992.
Family guy also makes fun of American lifestyle. It has a fat, obnoxious, typical American Dad and rest of the family is very obnoxious too like Americans. It's very sarcastic kinda humour and funny.
I remember my first introduction to the Simpsons , Didi bought me a t-shirt when she went to the college which said, "I am Bart Simpson, who the hell are you?" ..and recently i saw a small clip which i remember ..the simpson kids in it ..and one saya to the other , 'I am so mad I could kill your family' nd the other replies, "But ur Family!!" ...lolz
And i tried customising my blog with some result and must say : Hats off to U! urs is the most customised and neat blog that i have come across...give me a tip or two plz..
